Week in review…
Sorry for the lack of updates recently… I’ve been busy trying to get my end of the month workload done. It’s getting late here and Ana has chemo tomorrow, so that means I get to drive the 2.5 hours to Children’s Hospital tomorrow.
I have so much to say but here is some upcoming topics I’ll expand on over the weekend…
1. Make-a-Wish came to visit Ana this week… Her final wish turned out to be much different than anything she was talking about prior to their coming.
2. She had her blood counts done at the other hospital in town here today and they came though with flying colors, we found out the counts in about 45 minutes. NOT 48 hours as SMDC did.
3. Ana’s had a bit of a problem with making it though the week… She missed school Monday and did a couple half days this week. Not to mention missing Friday this week for Chemo therapy.
4. Monday we did find time to have some fun jumping in the leaves… I just happen to have a couple photos.
5. Creative billing of the Duluth Clinic (SMDC), got a jem of a bill from them the other day. Proving once again you need to keep an eye on the bills as your paying for them yourself. Oh we are so glad we’re no longer dealing with these clowns. Double billing is nothing new in health care but you would think a “business” that large would have it’s act together.
There was something else I planned on bringing up… I just don’t recall at the moment.
