Creative Billing of the Duluth Clinic (SMDC)
OH these people make me so MAD! We got a grant from our Primary doctors office for the first CT & MRI from the Duluth Clinic. The scans that first found her tumor back in June. So with this grant we were not suppose to be billed for either scan they were both being picked up by our clinic.
So these masterminds decided to bill us as well. Trying to get paid for the same thing twice. Now I could understand a simple billing error if they had done this 3 months ago. However on this recent invoice we got last week it’s listed as being a new charge and the date of service is correct as June 27th.
So the other odd issue is that the last bill had her lab work and the cost for them to do the weekly lab test was a little under $50.00. Yet this new bill is listing no charges. SO at the moment I’d like my primary doctors office to take care of this. I’m a very laid-back person and yet I’m sure I’d blow my top…
