Oh this last week has been exceptionally busy!

Thursday we had a trip down to Children’s Hospital to a Sleep Disorder Specialist. Ana has been having a horrible issue with making it though the day with enough energy. So the Doctor has us doing a chart of her sleeping habits until we meet again at Ana’s next chemo appointment Nov. 3rd.

Friday she stayed home from school again because she didn’t feel well.  (more…)

Well Ana took her medicine like a good girl for the most part.  Lucky for her the Chemo is given though the IV though her Port.

But the one major change this time is the “pleasing” attitude is over.  She questioned every thing and every needle that came along Friday. The nurse picked up on that right away and reasured Ana on what was going on.

We think that this came from the change of clinic’s to do her weekly blood draws/counts. They did a different system for than the last clinic we used.  I didn’t go to this appointment so I’m not exactly sure other than they drew out the blood thinner out of a bottle rather than having it ready to go in the the connection for her IV.

As a final note… we got the results from the blood work before Sara returned home with Ana, who wanted to take a nap afterwords.

OH these people make me so MAD!  We got a grant from our Primary doctors office for the first CT & MRI from the Duluth Clinic. The scans that first found her tumor back in June. So with this grant we were not suppose to be billed for either scan they were both being picked up by our clinic.
