OH these people make me so MAD! We got a grant from our Primary doctors office for the first CT & MRI from the Duluth Clinic. The scans that first found her tumor back in June. So with this grant we were not suppose to be billed for either scan they were both being picked up by our clinic.
Yesterday in the mail was the bill for chemo therapy on the 8th of September adding another $5,035.23 to the total. Making the grand total to date $31,585.
It looks like that $5,000 might be the average addition we can look forward to each month for chemo.
As long as all of her counts stay in range she should have another session coming up on the 6th.
Here is a summary of where we are at with the bills after nearly two months into this…
Currently we are at $26,130.41
And so far we’ve been able to pay $835.00 to date. Most of which is meds, glasses, and the new eye exam in St. Paul. This does not take into account gas for the 2 hour drive to see the doctors in St. Paul or the hotel stays and food.
Ongoing Chemo costs are still unknown.
I’ll give a detailed breakdown of the 26k later.
